Recently

I went to my first rodeo in Denver.

I moved from the Haight Ashbury to the Mission (in San Francisco). My new place has great light, and love the Mission.

I spent some time watercoloring this month. More details to come.

I went to Red Rocks Park.

Mutton busting was part of the rodeo. It's kids riding sheep. It's cute.

Consumption

• I finished REAMDE, which took me much longer than expected. It's a big, long, detailed technothriller filled with guns, characters, modes of transportation, and a bit of correctly-described technology.
• I saw Pop-Up Magazine and heartily recommend seeing it: a really incredible cast of writers and speakers, perfectly choreographed with music, lighting, and animation.
