I read Look Alive Out There by Sloane Crosley on

I laughed out loud reading this one. Next to my own stress, Crosley’s alternately tense and hilarious account of her egg-freezing debacle cut through. This is that kind of essay collection, witty and New York-flavored, that is the inspiration for a thousand mediocre blog posts. But this is the real thing, an authentically perceptive and clever voice. I’d love to write like her.
