It’s probably wrong now, but I feel weird about posting iPhone photos. I mean: they’re pretty good now! The original for this image is 4032×3024, and stored in the fancy HEIC format, which is sort of vaguely like Camera RAW.
But I still feel like there’s both something extra lurking: computational photography, filling in details with a machine learning chip on the phone. And something missing, a sort of crispness or realness of certain details.
But you have a phone ‘on you’ so it makes sense to use it.
