Lawnmower story

My dad once bought a lawnmower off of Craigslist, because my family needed a new lawnmower. It was listed as being broken, but after a few minutes of wrenching, it worked perfectly. He was noticeably disappointed.

I've been riding unnecessarily long distances on my bike. It's a dirty, sweaty, occasionally painful sport. A fellow programmer asked why I don't get an electric bicycle so I could ride faster and with less effort.
